MPNA JUNE EVENTS

The Middle Polk Neighborhood Association planted 2 Magnolia trees on Polk Street between Sacramento and Clay, in front of Good Vibrations. The Department of Public Works (DPW) provided the manpower for which we are greatful. We hope to plant more in the coming months.


Election Day is Tuesday June 8th. Please remember to vote. Have your voice heard!



The MPNA June clean-up is Saturday the 19th (always the 3rd Saturday of the month). Come join us keep our neighborhood clean. We meet at It's A Grind, 1800 Polk Street at Washington at 9:45AM and clean from 10AM to noon. We usually have lunch at a local eatery after the work is done.



The MPNA June meeting is Monday the 21st (always the 3rd Monday of the month). The main topics of discussion in June will be the California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) plans to build a massive facility on Cathedral Hill and the proposed development at the site of the abandoned church at the corner of Clay and Larkin. All are invited.
